Annual audit
All companies in Hong Kong must have their bookkeeping and financial statements audited at the end of the financial year by an independent auditor. The auditor must be a practising Hong Kong certified public accountant (CPA).
Auditing includes verifying that the financial documents of the company show true and accurate financial situation of the company. Auditing might also find out mistakes, omissions, and fraud, which all are detrimental to the company.
